Merry Christmas! It’s the most wonderful (and hectic) time of the year. Not only are you trying to wrap things up in the classroom while managing a group of very excited children, but you probably also have a list of things you are trying to finish up for your homes and families! My wish for you is a totally crossed off to-do list and a cozy, relaxing winter break!
This week I want to share a free, easy, last minute Christmas activity that only requires you to copy a page for your students!
This activity can be used with ANY book! Students will be “decorating” a Christmas tree based on the book (or book character).
You could choose to do this activity with a read aloud book, or students could choose a book to read independently and then complete the activity. It is a little easier for students to use a book they have read independently so that they can look back at the book for ideas.
